The situation
Photos, stories and milestones are spread across phones and services. Collecting them into a meaningful record of childhood can become a separate project that parents struggle to find time for.
My contribution
I co-founded Our Chapters with Alex Stokes. Alex leads the commercial side and I lead the technical build, connecting the product experience, memory capture and printed-book workflow. The product is a shared venture, rather than a solo project.
The work
Developing a way to collect memories from birth to eighteen, organise them into chapters and create a printed book. The product connects the everyday act of saving a moment with the longer-term goal of making something a family can keep.
The result
A published iPhone and iPad application, with an App Store listing and ongoing releases. The product combines written memories, photos and recordings with a printed-book workflow. Customer numbers, revenue and commercial impact are not claimed.
