The situation
Research identified a need to help women maintain activity in midlife, including access to appropriate strength and conditioning guidance. The question was how a mobile experience could make that guidance usable.
My contribution
A REYT team project with Sheffield Hallam University’s Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre and Westfield Health. The team combined research insight with product design and development.
The work
Used co-design to shape an accessible mobile proof of concept around the needs of the intended audience. Design, development and validation were brought together to test the viability of the application.
The result
A designed, developed and validated proof of concept, giving the research partners a tangible application through which to explore the opportunity.
